Vice City is the city at the center of Rockstar’s introduction to GTA VI. Leonida is the state across which Jason and Lucia’s story unfolds. The two names describe different scales of the setting.
Read the setting at two scales
Think of Vice City as the answer to “which city?” and Leonida as the answer to “which state?” When comparing scenes, that distinction matters. Two frames can belong to the same state while showing very different surroundings.
Identify places in official media
Start with Rockstar’s People & Places feature or launch gallery. Save the publisher’s location label alongside the image. A waterfront, skyline or highway is a useful visual clue, but it is weak evidence for an exact district without an accompanying caption.
Build a spoiler-light location notebook
